Alcatel-Lucent Bell Labs research facilities in France are located in Nozay, near Paris. More than 200 people develop with enthusiasm new features for networks, transmissions, security and applications, benefiting from the unique neighbourhood of worldwide renowned research institutes, universities, and Alcatel-Lucent R&D teams in a large variety of domains.
Bell Labs in France launched two common labs in 2008: with INRIA (Institut National de Recherche en Informatique et en Automatique), France most prestigious ICT academic institution, to design the communications networks of the future and with Institut TELECOM to work on “ubimedia,” a concept that will make new digital technologies available to everyone everywhere without service discontinuity. Bell Labs and its partners are regularly associated in collaborative programs both European and national.
Bell Labs in France is ICT Labs partner in Paris node. This node will benefit from two French Competitive Clusters i. e System@tic and Cap Digital, and from the prominent research hub, Digiteo, dedicated to complex and on board systems.
