This catalyst aims at providing support for sharing and accessing a set of top class Experience Labs & Living Labs owned and operated by EIT ICT Labs partners. Linked with a carrier project, these labs let researchers and engineers test and modify products in close collaboration with end-users in a real-life or a real-as-life setting. Experience labs focus on the end-user-experience, which is measured in the user’s own environment. Products are tested for modification of product and service design to align with market requirements.

The aim is also to help identify and utilize the right lab for every purpose, to share research and innovation methodologies, best-practices, and business models and at the same time enhance existing facilities and new ones. The funding supports the aim of fostering integration between Education, Research and Business. Students will be involved in experiments and there is a strong focus on exchange of methods and tools, as well as sharing of best practices between, labs, partners and Nodes.
